About the event

LGBTQ+ people are 4x more likely to have suicide ideation and suicide attempts than hetero people. It happens even in our small town, to our friends and family. PFLAG Stanwood-Camano will give you the tools to recognize when someone is in crisis, and how to help them. This is also a safe space to share your knowledge and stories.

We will start with an informational presentation by Wendy Burchill from Snohomish County from 3 - 4:30pm. This will be followed by a memorial slideshow of loved ones lost, music, and refreshments from 4:30 - 6pm.

If you have lost a loved one to suicide and would like them included in our memorial slideshow, please send photos to Angie at flamingheartssocialclub@gmail.com.
